It’s that time of the year again where we greet the blessed month of Ramadan, and prepare for the festive period of Syawal. This is the time where children tag along with their parents to shop for their Raya clothes after iftar, and parents start stocking up on kuih raya and other delicacies for Raya.

However, with the rising cost of living, will this year be a quiet Ramadan for Malaysians? Bloomberg recently reported that private consumption expenditure in the country, which makes up about half of gross domestic product, climbed 6.2% in the last quarter of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015.

That’s good news! But how will that affect the way we spend this Ramadan? Will you keep a stricter budget or have you started saving for the festive celebration?

Tell us how you will be spending your money this Ramadan by taking the survey below!
