Touch ‘n Go eWallet Adds Even More Cross-Border Payments

If you are not sure whether or not you can utilise your eWallets in a foreign country, look no further! Touch ‘n Go eWallet has expanded its seamless cross-border payment services to even more countries, offering a whole new level of convenience for Malaysians.

Millions of Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can experience popular destinations such as mainland China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia without having to fuss over whether or not you can make digital payments. This development brings its users a vast network of millions of merchant touchpoints, enabled through its integration with national cross-border QR payment and its partnership with Ant Group’s Alipay+

For example, Touch n’ Go eWallet is now accepted by Indonesia’s QRIS network, allowing its users to pay seamlessly with competitive exchange rates at more than 25 million merchant touchpoints.

Since its integration into Alipay+ in 2022, Touch n’ Go eWallet users have been able to easily make use of their digital wallets throughout the Alipay+ merchant network in the Chinese mainland, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. Since then, Alipay+ has expanded its services to include countries such as Thailand.

“Technology has given us the opportunity to address pain points that our users’ experience while travelling, especially while carrying banknotes. I am certain that our users will appreciate the convenience and peace of mind when transacting with our eWallet during their travels,” said Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd.
