Japan’s largest luxury department store, SEIBU, is set to open the doors for its flagship store in Malaysia at the end of this month, at TRX’s mall, The Exchange.

The store is set to be a cornerstone at The Exchange, comprising four floors, and will contain over 700 luxury, international, contemporary and Japanese brands.

Malay Mail reported that over 100 brands are also making their introductions to the Malaysian market through SEIBU. The luxury department store will also introduce 110 Japanese brands to Malaysian shoppers.

The store was designed by renowned British architects HMKM and Cardy Papa, and the ground floor will feature the store’s beauty hall, and it will contain 116 skincare, makeup and cosmetics brands.

The ground floor is also home to their ‘Shoe Salon’, where customers can browse through international shoe brands, like Giuseppe Zanotti, Rupert Sanderson, and Sergio Rossi.

The first floor of SEIBU will be its fashion section, containing newest offerings from brands like Lauren Woman, The Shirt Bar, and G Star Raw.

The second floor meanwhile contains a collection of toys and childrenswear, along with travel accessories.

Not content with just offering that, the concourse level of SEIBU will be their dining section, where restaurants like Sushi Suzuki, La Marche, Wagyu Beef One-Six, Miyatake Udon, and Tarbushi Ramen will be offering their fares to hungry shoppers.
