CGS-CIMB Announce Launch Of Global Shariah-Compliant Futures
CGS-CIMB Futures has announced the launch of its Global Shariah-Compliant Futures (SCF) Account for Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Singapore Exchange (SGX) products.
This is the first of such products in Malaysia and marks a significant expansion of CGS-CIMB offerings beyond Bursa Malaysia Derivatives.
“The visionary leadership of regulatory bodies and the unwavering dedication of capital market players have paved the way for this historic milestone.
“This innovative offering is a testament to the convergence of Shariah principles with modern financial instruments, as well as the harmony between traditional values and progressive financial solutions,” says Professor Dr. Aznan Hasan, Shariah Advisor of CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd.
The principles of Shariah investment lie in fairness, justice, and shared prosperity. As such, the introduction of Malaysia’s First Global Shariah-Compliant Futures Account, will empower investors to engage in the global market while upholding principles of transparency, risk-sharing, and social responsibility.
CGS-CIMB recognises that factors such as risk, return, liquidity, and cost remain a key concern when investing in volatile markets.
The Global Shariah-Compliant Futures seeks to offer the right balance for investors, offering an alternate form of investment that is in line with their values.
“We are grateful to be Malaysia’s first derivative broker to launch the Global Shariah-Compliant Futures account. As we embark on this new chapter, let us remain mindful of the vast potential that lies ahead.
“This innovation holds the power to attract a diverse spectrum of investors seeking to align their financial aspirations with their faith,” says Azizah Mohd Yatim, Chief Executive Officer of CGS-CIMB Securities Malaysia.
