Meet Nex.Life – The Newest Telco On The Block
A new telco – powered by Webe Digital Sdn Bhd – has entered the broadband game in Malaysia. Nex.life offers both home and mobile internet services to its customers, although its services are currently limited to locations in Kelantan and Terengganu.
In Kelantan, Nex.life is currently available for consumers residing in Kota Bharu, Kubang Kerian, Pengkalan Chepa and Salor. As for residents in Terengganu, the services are available in Kuala Terengganu, Chendering, Bukit Payung and Gong Badak.
Consumers can enjoy internet speed of up to 20Mbps for home and 4G/LTE mobile Internet services in selected areas.
A 500MB monthly data quota is allocated for non-4G/LTE area. When you sign up, an appointed installer from Telekom Malaysia will be installing your home internet and deliver your new mobile sim card to your doorstep.
Starting with limited coverage in areas outside the Klang Valley is becoming the norm in Malaysia. With telcos like Digi and Celcom establishing pilot programmes in Malacca and Sabah respectively.
However, Nex.life is unique in that customers have to sign up and maintain both lines – you cannot choose either home or mobile internet service.
Registration is available for all Malaysian individuals with a valid IC and whose homes are located within the selected service area. Each registered account consists of bundled home and mobile internet service – and a maximum of five packages is allowed per individual.
