MoF Organising Financing Initiative At Four Locations In S’wak
The Ministry of Finance has announced that they will organise the Micro, Small and Medium (MSME) Enterprise Jerayawara Financing initiative at four locations in Sarawak, from 11 to 27 May.
In a statement posted on their Facebook, the programme is part of their efforts to galvanise the MSME landscape in Sarawak, while also demonstrating the government’s commitment to help the MSMEs to thrive.
The MSME Jerayawara Financing initiative will be held from 8.30am to 4.30pm at the Islamic Information Centre in Kuching on 11 May, Universiti Teknologi Sarawak (UTS) in Sibu on 21 May, Universiti Putra Malaysia (Bintulu branch) on 23 May, and finally at the Sarawak State Library in Miri on 27 May.
Financing initiative to help MSME obtain business funding
The MSME Jerayawara Financing initiative is an initiative that allows MSME businesses or even people who want to start their own MSME business to get financing from the various agencies that are participating in the initiative.
Some of the agencies involved with the MSME Jerayawara Financing Initiative includes Bank Negara Malaysia, Suruhanjaya Sekuriti Malaysia, Bank Pertanian Malaysia Berhad (Agrobank), Bank Simpanan Nasional, Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad, Small Medium Enterprose Development Bank Malaysia Berhad, Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad dan Malaysian Green Technology And Climate Change Corporation.
