Price Of MyCity One-Day Travel Pass Has Increased

Commuters are in for a rude awakening. Starting from today (Friday, 8 March), the price of the RM5 unlimited one-day pass for users of trains and buses operated by Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus will go up by RM1.
1-day pass increase to RM6, 3-day pass remains at RM15
A statement released by Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus parent company Prasarana Malaysia Bhd mentioned that the price of a three-day pass will remain at RM15.
The price of the one-day MyCity pass has increased due to the expansion of the rail network in Klang Valley. The extended network includes with the full opening of the Putrajaya MRT line last year. It will also include the impending opening of the Shah Alam LRT line next year
Reinstating 1-day, 3-day passes for foreigners
Prasarana will also be reinstating the one-day and three-day passes for those without Malaysian identity cards in an effort to encourage more foreigners to utilise the public transportation services within the Klang Valley.
For foreigners, the price of the passes will be RM10 and RM25 respectively.
The MyCity pass is valid for use on the MRT, LRT, BRT and buses operated by Rapid Bus in Klang Valley, including the MRT feeder buses.
For those looking to obtain a MyCity pass, one can be purchased at any Rapid Rail train station or selected bus hubs, other than online through the MyRapid PULSE app.
