PR1MA Warns Public To Be Careful Of Poser Agents
Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA), which offers affordable housing for low-to medium households, has warned Malaysians to be wary of online posers claiming they can assist with securing PR1MA units.
The corporation warned the public of a recent Facebook posting by an individual claiming to render assistance to obtain PR1MA homes through “quotas” given to ministers and other high-profile names.
In a statement, they assured there was no such appointment of third-party individuals or companies to sell their units on digital media.
“Since its inception in 2013, PR1MA does not accept any upfront payment or booking fee from homebuyers as a form of deposit to secure a PR1MA home,” it wrote.
They have since made police reports and presented the issue to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
The organisation had also reiterated all projects and dealings are made directly, while project proposals are vetted thoroughly with strict due diligence before they are handed over to PR1MA’s Members of Corporation.
Potential vendors are also required to submit their application online before going through the vendor registration process and vetting process.
PR1MA has also urged those who encounter any unauthorised individuals or companies advertising PR1MA homes, which are not in line with their rules and regulations, to contact PR1MA at info@pr1ma.my or contact 03 7628 9898.
