Didn’t Get Your Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah Cash Aid? Here’s How You Can Check And Appeal Your Status

Since the 26th of June 2023, the 3rd phase of the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) payout has been rolled out in phases.

By now, most of the people who are eligible for the STR payout have already gotten their money in their bank account. So if you still haven’t gotten your payment, maybe you should check your STR status, and appeal your status if need be.

But how do you do that? That’s what we’re going to show you in this article.

Checking Your Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah Status

So you think you should be receiving your STR anytime soon, but all your friends have gotten theirs, while you’re still waiting. So what do you do now? Simple, you check your status to see if you actually qualify for the STR payout.

How do you do that? Here’s how.

The first thing you want to do is get yourself to the official STR page right here.

Once you’re there, here’s what you will see.

What you want to do now is fill in your IC number in the top left-hand corner, and log in.

Once you’re logged in, what you want to do next is click on the MySTR section, where you will see your status right there.

If your status is “dalam pengkreditan’, then all you have to do is wait, and your payout should arrive in your bank account anytime soon.

But if your status is rejected, then here’s what you need to do.

Eligibility requirements of STR

The first thing you want to do if you have been rejected for your STR, is you should recheck the eligibility requirements of STR.

You are eligible for STR if you fit any of the following criteria;

  • Malaysian with an income of RM5000 and below for a household and a single elderly person.
  • Malaysian with an income of RM2500 and below for a single person.

If you fit any of the above criteria, then you are eligible for the STR payout.

But what if you meet the STR criteria, but your status is not eligible? Then what you need to do is make an appeal.

Appealing your STR status

In an infographic posted on the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri’s (LHDN) Official Facebook page, they announced that appeals on your STR status can be made starting from 3rd July 2023 to 31 July 2023.

Want to appeal your STR status? Here’s how you do it.

The two methods that you can appeal your STR status is as follows;

  • Online application through the official STR website.
  • Physical application at your nearest LHDN office.

It is recommended that you use the online application process, as it is safer and faster than the physical application process.

For the appeal process, you’re going to need to provide some supporting documents as proof of your changed status.

Some of the documents that you might need to provide is a copy of your own or your partner’s MyKad, a copy of your children’s MyKid or MyKad, a copy of your child’s birth certificate, and other documents that will be announced by LHDN.

Conclusion

STR is a good initiative to ensure that every Malaysian has all the help they need for their livelihood. So make sure you don’t miss out, and check your STR status and appeal if you need to!
