TnG eWallet To Impose 1% Credit Card Reload Fee From February 2024

TNG credit card reload fee

Touch n’ Go eWallet is expanding its fee structure to include a 1% charge on credit card reloads from February this year. This is building on the same fee on the for manual credit card reloads exceeding RM1,000 imposed in October 2023.

TNG says that this change is to offset the cost of credit card transactions, which have been subsidised by the company thus far. However, it also points out that DuitNow and debit card reloads will not be charged, and recommends that customers use these options to top up their accounts instead.

It should be pointed out that all TNG eWallet accounts are assigned a unique DuitNow number – separate from the one that is tied to your phone number. This TNG eWallet DuitNow number can be used to quickly transfer funds to the digital wallet. You can find this number located in the Profile section of the app.
