Step-By-Step Guide To Open A Trading Account On Webull

Registering for a Webull account

Step 1
Head over to iMoney.my and select ‘Online Investment’. You may need to click “More…” if you don’t immediately see the option.

Step 2
Webull should be the first promotion you see under “Recommended”. Click “Apply”.

Step 3
Fill in your details and click “Submit”.

Step 4
You will be taken to the Webull website. From here, click “Open an account” or “Register now”.

Step 5
Key in and verify your phone number, followed by setting up your password. Once done, click “Sign up”.

Congratulations! You have successfully created your Webull Malaysia account.

Downloading the Webull app and eKYC verification

Step 1
Download the Webull Malaysia app from the Google Play or Apple store.

Step 2
Login to the app using the account you created.

Step 3
Click “Open Account” at the bottom menu, then click “Open an account”

Step 4
Capture a photo of both the front and back of your identification card, along with a selfie for verification purposes.

Step 5A
Fill in your employment information and specify if your tax identification number (TIN) is available.

Step 5B
If your TIN is unavailable, you will be required to specify the reason for being unable to provide the Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Step 6
Fill in your investment background information. This may include information such as your previous investment experience, types of investments you have made.

Step 7
Specify the asset information, including the account type and trading product. Additionally, select the BNM FEA Declaration option as applicable.

Step 8
Fill in, edit, and doublecheck your personal information as necessary. You will also need to upload a supporting document,  such as a utility bill or bank statement to verify your current address.

Step 9
Read the agreement disclosure carefully, then tick the box to indicate your agreement. Click “Confirm” to proceed.

Step 10
Draw your signature and click “Submit” to complete the process.

Step 11
Review your information carefully and click “Confirm.” The application process will take 1-3 working days to complete.
