The CIMB Bank Cash Plus Personal Loan is based on a fixed interest rate (flat) ranging from 6.88 per annum (or per year) to 14.88% per annum. The final approved interest rate is subject to the bank’s approving criteria.
Income: Your minimum gross salary must be at least RM2,000 per month. Gross salary means salary before monthly deductions such as income tax and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contribution.
Age: You must be between the age of 21 and 60 to qualify for the loan. This means, your age must not exceed 60 at the end of the loan tenure. For example, if you are taking up the loan at age 58, the maximum loan tenure you can qualify for is only 2 years, instead of the maximum 5 years.
Other qualifying criteria: You must be a Malaysian citizen to qualify.

Late payment charges: 1% on the outstanding loan amount. Late payment charges will increase your total outstanding loan amount.
Other fees: CIMB Bank Cash Plus Personal Loan does not charge a processing fee or early settlement fee. However, they require at least 1-month prior notice in writing.
You will need to make a fixed monthly repayment throughout the loan tenure. This repayment is split into a payment of principal and interest.
The lower your interest rate and the longer your loan tenure, the lower your monthly repayment will be. For example, if you are borrowing RM50,000 with an interest rate of 6.88% over 5 years, your monthly repayment will be around RM1,120.

Upon approval, the loan amount will be credited into an approved account. If you did not provide an approved account, the bank will automatically credit the amount into your CIMB or CIMB Islamic savings account.
